Eleanor Milford
Managing Partner

Eleanor Milford started her career in the London City in the late 90s, in Corporate Finance division of SBC Warburg (currently UBS). Eleanor was subsequently involved in a commercial and hotel advisory project at Knight Frank in London, up until 1999. In 1999-2003, she worked as a Head of UK representation for an international construction and property development group.

Eleanor established Barnes & Hogan, a private advisory practice, upon departure from that position. In that capacity, she was engaged in a number of projects in residential, commercial and hotel sector on behalf of corporations and private investors. The projects included planning work, co-ordination of reports between technical specialists and historians in relation to listed buildings, project feasibility and appraisals for bank finance purposes, market analysis and disposal of assets, including development of exit strategies, as well as supervision of maintenance and refurbishment works. Eleanor holds BSc in Modern languages and MSc in International Economy.

 

 
Nuno de Sampaio-Soares
Partner - International Business Development

Nuno de Sampaio-Soares is a graduate of Birkbeck College (University of London) and Colégio São Luís and Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo) and has a vast experience in a wide range of industries from investment banking and real estate to manufacturing. Nuno held top positions in some of the world’s largest corporations. He devoted his career to developing property and land in the UK and overseas. In 2010, he was appointed Director of CPEC, which he led into restructuring as a prominent renewable energy developer in India and South Asia.

Nuno de Sampaio-Soares

He started his career as a FOREX trader for Citibank in Brazil in the early 80’s and moved to London to become Deputy Managing Director of the Amorim Group, Portugal’s largest Industrial Group. Subsequently he took up the position of International Investment Consultant for Providence Capitol, a Gulf & Western financial subsidiary and was the top broker of the company 2 years in a row.

Nuno's exposure to nearly 15 years of constant international travel gave him tremendous insight into global migration trends and in-depth understanding of international property markets. He has been an active investor personally and through his companies in both commercial and residential property.

Nuno is a polyglot, fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.

 

 
Keith Meikle
Partner – Architecture, Planning and Project Management

Following initial university studies in sciences, Keith Meikle went on to earn a B.Arch from Toronto in architecture. Furthermore he obtained a B.Arts degree in Architectural History & Classics. A career specialising in couture design and applications in technology was forthcoming leading to international building projects from hotels to large complex villas, he also specialised in academic work with archaeo-architectural surveying of ancient settlement/tomb/temple sites.

Keith Meikle

Keith Meikle, from the mid 1990s planned and delivered retail projects across North America, including full design and shop fitting, the experience lead to similar activities in China but to include hotel, commercial and residential design. Now based in London, England, he has followed a design forte for the super-high end in residential for both investment and private use. The location of projects however remains global from Los Angeles to Hong Kong. In addition to the design services provided, Development Management is a key aspect of service and has recently providing for the initiation of over £650M in projects current and upcoming.

 

 
Peter Phan
Partner – Interior Design

Obtaining a B.Arts from San Diego, Peter Phan followed a career in interior design and fit-out work. Working in California through to a move to London, Peter has excelled with award winning designs for specialist high-end residential projects in London and internationally. His initial work in London was via Andrew Martin through the 1990s and has since been producing his own skilful designs.

Anfisa Bachina
Associate - Interior Architecture and Client Relations

 

Anfisa Bachina has graduated from University of Westminster (London) with a BA (Honours) in Interior Architecture. She specialises in planning and creating conceptual 2D/3D models using modern computer software. Her previous experiences include work for an independent design consultancy with a focus on workplace environments and urban re-development projects.

Anfisa is bilingual, Russian and English language-speaker, and in addition to her rich technical portfolio, possesses artistic credentials in sketching and painting. She is also currently advancing her skills in computer programming in terms of its application to architectural design.

 

 
Arthur Knight
Associate - Market Research and IT

 

 

Arthur Knight graduated with a BSc Degree in Computer Science from City University (London). Arthur has a knack for research and data handling, and also provides IT solutions where needed.

Arthur is experienced in collecting and evaluating data and is responsible for detailed statistics, feasibilities and reports for clients of the firm. Arthur Knight is fluent in English, Russian and has a basic knowledge Japanese.
