Interior Design

Barnes & Hogans can handle any type of project starting from a small central London ‘pied-a-terre’ to a grand mansion house in the country.

We work in collaboration with an exclusive interior design firm and offer a wealth of inspirational and unique design concepts that range from classic period style to art deco and contemporary chic.

Our interior design team will begin by offering a private consultation in order to understand the tastes and needs of the customer. At a follow-up meeting, they would prepare a series of mock-up installations such as design boards with samples of upholstery and curtain fabrics, wallpaper, carpets, floor tiles, as well as furniture drawings and other elements of interior.

Once the client has agreed on the style of design and formally instructed the team, they would be provided with detailed portfolio for the project with samples and photos as well as the price list and the time-table for commissioning works and ordering furniture. You should allow minimum three months for decoration and furnishing of the property once all construction works and installations have been done. For custom-made furniture items and joinery and rare items of decoration that need to be sourced from overseas, more time will be needed. You would be advised on these matters in the process of approving the design scheme.

Our service is flexible and you can have as much or as little involvement in the design process as you wish. For those clients who have limited time due to business and other commitments, we can also project manage their construction and refurbishment programmes.
